We’re a forward-thinking team at CNG, but our backgrounds are definitely worth a quick look. Started in 1994 following the deregulation of the UK gas industry, our portfolio of satisfied commercial customers has grown ever since.
Deregulation sparked opportunities for real competition in the gas industry, and a welcome chance for the sector’s true innovators to break the mould and offer a more progressive and customer-focused service.
The people behind CNG are some of those same innovators. They bring talent and expertise gained over decades of experience, but it’s their unique vision and a fresh new approach that’s proving the biggest hit with those businesses we serve today.
In 2011, we met a major milestone in the shape of the completion of the CNG Management Buyout. This change brought MD Jacqui Hall, Operations Director Chris England and Finance Director Tim Jones to the fore as leaders of the company; with 70 per cent ownership and the option to purchase a further 15 per cent in the future.
It is this leadership team which is shaping CNG’s future as a leading independent supplier; which strives to offer the sector’s strongest offering and a real alternative to the Big Six energy companies.
