Harrogate-based CNG, the UK ’s leading independent supplier of natural gas for business, is bucking the trend by welcoming yet another new appointee to help cope with its flourishing sales drive.

The business, which in 2008 welcomed a staggering eight new appointees, is now embracing new Third Party Account Manager Dan Sullivan. After a hugely successful temporary consultancy Dan was asked to stay on at CNG full time.

New recruit Dan has spent the last three years in the fiercely competitive utilities industry with positions including Account Manager within the electricity sector before becoming a consultant for both customers and suppliers. His role is based in Worcester , where he joins Sales and Marketing Director Richard Atkinson.

Dan’s role is vast, but his immediate priorities are to generate and maintain steady growth of third party sales, introduce a telesales function to the business and introduce additional agents.

With a raft of new blood within the business and a clear and focused plan for 2009, CNG is putting pay to rumours of turbulent times in the energy market. Through ongoing development of staff and sourcing the ideal candidates CNG is planning to make this year its most successful to date, and with two new services weeks away from being unveiled to customers, it looks like that could be a reality.

Dan commented: “My role within CNG is really exciting. The company has progressed incredibly well within the market and subsequently has a great reputation. We have the potential to move even further forward now and really stamp our mark on the industry.” CNG MD Jacqui Hall commented: “Welcoming Dan is another milestone in our plan of continued development for the company. CNG is stronger than ever and bringing in people of Dan’s calibre ensures we can continue to adapt and grow to the changing needs of the market.”
