Team CNG boost World Cup bid
Harrogate-based CNG, the UK’s leading independent supplier of natural gas for business, has announced its role as one of the main sponsors of Harrogate Veteran’s FC, England’s representatives in the FISA Senior’s World Cup.
The team, which hit the headlines in 2009 when it brought home the trophy, is representing the nation in Chaiyaphum Northern Thailand against hoards of international teams, many with ex-professional players in the ranks.
CNG’s growing reputation as a business which supports local causes and in particular sporting teams, made it the ideal choice for the players, all of whom will be sporting the CNG name as they jet across the globe.
CNG’s contribution will be playing a vital role in supporting the player’s kit and travel needs while they are away at the competition.
CNG MD Jacqui Hall commented: “Working with the Harrogate Veterans is a pleasure and we are honoured to be contributing to an exciting World Cup bid for the nation.
“We are keeping everything crossed for them and hope they can repeat their excellent 2009 form in this year’s competition.”
