A few steps closer to our £25K charity target
24 September 2019
So far this year, we’ve made some big strides towards the £25K charity target we set ourselves as part of our 25th year celebrations, and the next challenge we’re taking on will bring us one step (well, lots of steps!) closer to our goal.
Never ones to shy away from a challenge, big physical tasks are nothing new for our CNGers. In previous years we’ve walked Hadrian’s Wall, scaled double the height of Mount. Everest in a step challenge and cycled 75 miles during the Tour de Yorkshire!
This weekend, a fantastic group of CNGers are dusting off their walking boots to take part in a three day walking challenge from Saltburn, all the way down to Filey, along 50 miles of beautiful British coast line.
We’re always immensely proud of Team CNG’s dedication to good causes, and this year feels extra special as we’re raising money for 25 incredible charities close to our hearts. From smaller local charities such as St Michael’s Hospice, Martin House Hospice and The Harrogate Homeless Project, to national charities like The Woodland Trust and Cancer Research, each one really means something to us.
