A financial lifeline for the British businesses unveiled

18 March 2020

As the number of confirmed cases continues to rise, so does the uncertainty and worry within businesses. In the recent Budget announcement, the Chancellor declared support for Britain’s small and medium-sized enterprises (under 250 employees) that could struggle as a result of the pandemic. The latest news suggests that £330bn in loans would be made available from next week (w.c 23rd) to support businesses with rent, supplies and salaries. This includes a business rates holiday and help for small firms without insurance. Further details are yet to be shared. We encourage all businesses to seek the support they need in preparation for accessing support when released.
