Credit Controllers

We are looking for Credit Controllers to join our great team here at CNG. Communicating with our customers via both email and phone every day, our customer will be your top priority and your focus will be collecting debt in a timely and efficient manner.

We need a positive, proactive person with a can-do attitude and some office-based experience so you are able to hit the ground running. You’ll need to be a creative problem solver and be committed to working with the customer to get the right outcome for both CNG and other parties involved. We also need a great communicator, who can keep calm when faced with difficult scenarios and utilise negotiation skills to achieve our collection goals.

Responsibilities include;
• Working towards 100% collection of outstanding debt
• Dealing with Internal & External customers via phone, email and text
• Making contact with customers in arrears via phone, email and text
• Provide excellent customer service
• Resolving queries on an account in a timely manner
• Working within a team to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
• Liaising with external agencies working on behalf of CNG
• Working within the Credit Control team in order to promote the collection of debt and prevention of further debt through customer account management
• General administrative duties

Skills/Personal Specification Required;

• Overall knowledge of all areas of debt
• Works well within the a team with a “Can do” attitude
• Seeks out and recognises opportunities for improvement
• Great communication skills - both verbal and written
• Excellent time management and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
• Takes ownership of tasks and shows initiative
• Embraces change and is willing to learn
• Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Works really well collaboratively and within a team
• Respects and maintains our CNG working environment
