You won’t be surprised to hear that there’s been loads going on here at CNG HQ these last few weeks. We thought it was time we put together an update on what we’ve been up to:

Proud to support Leeds United:

It’s no secret that we love to get behind our region’s sporting champions, from schools to pros, we’re always excited to celebrate sporting achievements. With that in mind, it made perfect sense for us to take up the chance to become a Digital Partner at Leeds United. So, if you’re a fan, you may well see out name on the terrace, the TV or around the ground in the very near future. We’ve already attended our first partner event and we’re looking forward to attending some matches!

Power Ride - cycling for Energy Live News and Versus Arthritis

We’ve been working with Energy Live News for many years, so we jumped at the opportunity to combine teaming up with them and raising money for an amazing cause. Anyone who reads our blog often will know that supporting causes close to our hearts and those of our colleagues is something we’re incredibly passionate about. With that in mind, a group of bold CNGers took part in Power Ride - tackling almost 1000km between them to help the Energy Live News team raise funds for Versus Arthritis (was Arthritis UK). The fundraising continues, so if you fancy helping boost their total, you can here.

Working with Western Primary School:

We were approached by Western Primary School to ask if we could help support their fundraising for a refurbishment of they outside play areas. The PTA has been working hard for two years to raise money to revamp the playground. The two-phased project will include new resurfacing, the inclusion of artificial grass as well as new fencing, creative markings and storage benches. We are delighted to be able to play a small role in the project and we’re excited to attend the Phase one reception in November to see work so far.

Harrogate Town Ladies’ Squad:

CNG and Harrogate town go way back. So when we heard the Ladies’ Squad needed some support, it seemed only right that we step in! We’re incredibly passionate about recognising young sporting talent, as we believe sports highlight many qualities we care about at CNG; teamwork, passion and commitment to continuous improvement. We wish the team the very best for the season and can’t wait to see you in action!
